Family Fun Fondo – New for 2019 – 

 

The Family Fun Fondo is designed for all members of your family to enjoy together. Your family bike ride starts with the excitement of the Prairie Gran Fondo mass start and the lead out by the Saskatoon City Police. Your route soon has you on the vehicle-free safety of the Meewasin trails along the South Saskatchewan River banks. The route has varying distances so your family can choose how far they would like to go. Special rest stops with activities and entertainment are planned so the fun continues even when not on the bike! Pssst … did you hear about the BMX Demo rest stop?

Prizes … did we mention prizes? Does your family have the largest age range riding? does it have 3 (or more) generations riding, does your family show spirit, dressed in costume or otherwise stand out from the crowd? … if so, there might be something special in store for your family!

Upon returning to the festival site Family Fun Fondo participants can enjoy a tour through Boomtown at the Western Development Museum, participate in the Bike Rodeo  and even purchase special Father’s Day lunch tickets. Adult Lunch Ticket = $20, Youth (4-14) Ticket = $15, Toddler (0-3) = Free.

Father’s Day Lunch Tickets are available online HERE until Wednesday June 12th. or can be purchased at Package Pick up on Saturday June 15 (Bike Doctor – 623 Main Street, 9:30AM-5:30PM) or can even be purchased Event day at the large event tent.

Your Family Fun Fondo Bib is you free entrance into the Western Development Museum. You will receive your bibs when you pick up your rider package on Saturday June 15th at the Bike Doctor.
