Prairie Gran Fondo, more than a bike ride, it’s a Festival of Fun on Two Wheels!

PGF is a mass start cycling event hosting participants of all abilities followed by a whole day of live entertainment and fun activities. But wait, it’s more too … as a non-profit event all proceeds from PGF go towards supporting youth in sport through PGF’s commitment to KidSport Saskatchewan and safety and skills programming for youth in cycling through the Horizon Youth Program (HYP).

Whether riding the Piccolo fondo, the Medio fondo, the Gran fondo or the Canada 150 fondo route participants will be supported with awesome rest stops, on route SAG Wagons and emergency services. Post-ride food, live entertainment, and a whole day of activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy!

Saskatchewan’s largest cycling event, Prairie Gran Fondo’s focus remains to make the event accessible to participates of every ability. In keeping with this tradition, PGF is excited to announce the FAMILY FUN FONDO. Family Fun Fondo is a shorter ride on a vehicle-free route designed for the whole family to enjoy together. Whether it’s Mom pulling the toddlers in a bike chariot, or Grandpa and Grandma riding with their grandchildren on training wheels all will enjoy riding the Meewasin paths of the gorgeous South Saskatchewan river valley.

TIMING for all participants, perfect for the for the accomplished cyclist who might choose to race the route. Each cyclist will receive their finish time to compare against their fellow riders.
